What's New?
|
Next season's programme is now being drawn up by our member clubs and details are filled in on the Events page as they come to hand.
Inevitably there are adjustments made from time to time, so keep checking for changes until well on in the Spring. Should there be a major change, it will probably
be drawn to your attention on this page also.
There has been some revising of the Links page with regard to the weather forecast section, where there have been some recent developments,
and also that for navigation to reflect the need to update your Leisure Folio(s) as well as individual charts. Please note that the Hydrographer's logo is now craftily divided
into two sections, as will be seen when you pass your mouse over it. A link has been added to the CHIRP page offering their reports, which come out quarterly,
as there is often some very interesting and instructive reading to be found therein about the sort of things that happen on BIG ships.
The Secretary used his 2005 cruise to check the details of a number of Visitors' mooring sites, with a resulting increase in the accuracy of GPS positions and
even some new ones. There are also several subsequent revisions. We hope you find it useful in strange places. Your own assistance in refining the remaining imprecisions
will be much appreciated, so print out the moorings list to take with you on your next Hebridean cruise. Then tell us where you find he got it wrong!
We are always needing more good photos for use on the site - preferably colourful and recognisably West Highland - so do let us know if you think you've got
something suitable you would like to share, or even delegate a spare family-member to go out and take some more with that new digital camera.... |
