The Club is based near the east end of Newburgh near the football ground

Open events 2004
Regatta 1-2nd May. The Saturday will be 'round the cans' racing, first start at 12:00. The main event takes place on Sunday - the Mugdrum Island Race which is set to start at 13:00 with all boats competing together. 
Solo travellers will be held on Saturday 14th August, first race at 14.15

Open Days and Training No open day planned. We are running a sailing course on 29/30th May for beginners and every month we will be running a training day for members during which we can fit in anyone who wants to try sailing.

The club is a RYA training centre running sailing and powerboat courses at times during the year. Other dates and contacts can be made through the Newburgh SC website.

Other events The club runs a mixture of races and cruising. The longest race runs up to Perth Sailing Club. We can cruise easily up the Tay and Earn rivers and also down to Dundee by following the appropriate tides.

Sailing Waters Tidal part of Rivers Tay and Earn and upper estuary but mainly off Newburgh town and around Mugdrum Island.

High water  Perth Harbour minus 20 minutes or Dundee plus 35 minutes

Sailing Times Weekends & some weekday evenings between April & October. Sailing possible 2hr either side of high water.

Types of boat Dinghies mainly with some sailboards & small keelboats

Main Classes Solo, GP14, Pico and assorted others. The club owns/hires three GP14s and two Picos
