Tay Keelboat Series
2005
This event, first held in 2002, is open to yachts from TYCA clubs. It
is run jointly by Royal Tay Yacht Club, Tay Corinthian Boating Club and
Wormit Boating Club, the main keelboat clubs in the area, each club
will take turns in providing the starting area for the six race series.
Two classes compete for the two TYCA salvers for spinnaker yachts and
cruisers. Longish courses about the estuary are planned, out to sea or
through the bridges according to conditions. Times are set to allow
full access from Tayport harbour. If any other TYCA clubs have members
who wish to join in, it should be possible to arrange accomodation on
visitors moorings at RTYC or in Tayport Harbour.
