OBJECTIVES The Trail-Sail Association is a large group of people who actively enjoy trail-sailing, and have found that it can be better to launch, cruise, and recover their yachts when other people involved in trail-sailing are around. People who often become friends as a cruise progresses, and whose friendship is a good enough reason to join the next TSA cruise. When not off sailing, the Membership List allows one member to contact another for advice about a particular boat, trailer or possible launching site. The private Member's Forum - courtesy of Google Groups - is a popular way of swapping ideas and information. So much so that it's taking over the relevance of the Newsletter, which now carries longer reports of cruises etc Active owners of trail-sail yachts perhaps get around the World far more than any other group of sailors, and the TSA is large enough to usually include at least one member with suitable experience to answer even the strangest of questions. If you have a trailer born yacht that you can sleep on, and would like to join one of the TSA cruises, you would be very welcome to do so without first joining the TSA. The association's annual membership fee is £6.oo, and if you find the company of other members agreeable after cruising with them, you would be welcome to send off your £6.oo to join. (It's free if you provide an item that is accepted for the Newsletter.) There are a lot of things happening, that suggest Trail-Sailing is rapidly becomming a very popular way of cruising in interesting places, and the TSA would like to help people new to the idea. |

PEOPLE INTERESTED IN TRAIL-SAILING HAVE VISITED THIS SITE. |
THANK-YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST - WE HOPE YOU FIND THIS SITE HELPFUL |
Note from web-master. |
This web site was mainly started for the benefit of the TSA members. However, judging by the large nember of visitors, there seems to be a surprisingly strong interest in trail sailing. Much more so than we thought existed. Because the activity is obviously so popular, I feel this web site should be up graded from time to time, with further pages added, so that the increasing number of visitors can be assured of something new to see if they decide to visit the site again. Most of the additions are general answers to specific questions that have been e-mailed to me, and if you have some thoughts or questions, I would be happy to hear from you. Rather than re-do all the pages, only this page carries all the LINKS to these new pages. (Adding all the current LINKS to all the other pages means a lot of messing about. Which is why the page version numbers are now all out of sync. I would ask you to ignore them, as they are only there to help me quickly confirm that a page has up-loaded correctly, and have nothing to do with the date of up-grading a different page. Big numbers can, and now do, come before small numbers.) 200x amendments - Cruise prog, boats for sale. The latest additions are being made through |
