Bereavement

Very Sad News – Roger Belsey died last night (30^th Aug). Roger had suffered for many years with illness and had been in hospital in Dartmouth. He was a ‘Demon Racing Sailor’ and had been a member of the TBA for many years. Our fondest love and wishes go to his good wife Valerie. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Birthdays & Anniversaries

Well for September we really have a great number of Birthday’s

The club members wish Vic Camier a wonderful ‘Birthday’ on Friday 10^th Sept

The club members also wish Mary Harris a very ‘Happy Birthday’ for Friday 10^th Sept

Richard Smith celebrates his birthday on Wednesday 15^th September so again we wish him a ‘Very Happy Birthday’

A Happy Birthday to Paul Latham who is celebrating his birthday on September 26^th

And lastly ‘Birthday Wishes’ to Dick Barton who is celebrating his birthday on September 27th

Tadpole Award

The club has had to wait until July for the first Tadpole Award to be given….and to whom has it gone?

Well…a very good hearted Rear Commodore had just finished his ‘good turn’ helping two non club members to reach the pontoon that attaches to the shore, when returning to the club pontoon, he slipped getting out…a back double somersault was performed excellently, followed by a huge splash! All the club members raced to his rescue and helped him quickly out of the water. After an act of such helpfulness by Nick, he didn’t deserve the dunking.

Welcome to new Full Members of the TBA

The TBA welcomes the following new full members into the club and hope that they enjoy many years of fun, social events and great boating with us.
