The Club shall be called the Torksey Yacht Club (T.Y.C.) and be based at Torksey.
The address shall be that of the Honorary Secretary.
The aims and objectives of the club shall be :-
To promote comradeship and co-operation between all users of the waterways.
To represent and protect the members interests in relation to boating activities.
To provide wherever and whenever possible facilities appropriate to the members needs.
To organise activities appropriate to the members needs.
Membership shall be open to all suitable persons who subscribe to the club’s aims and objectives.
The Burgee’s
The Club burgee shall be triangular in shape, blue background with a white swan in the centre and the letters T.Y.C. in white and in a vertical line near the hoist.
The Commodores burgee shall be as the club burgee but rectangular in shape with a fishtail.
The Vice Commodores burgee shall be the same as the Commodores but with one white ball in the uppermost canton next to the hoist.
The Rear Commodores burgee shall be the same as the Commodores but with two white balls in the uppermost canton next to the hoist.
Past Commodores burgee’s shall be as the club burgee but rectangular in shape.
