was built in 1978 at Richard
Dunstan's Shipyard at Thorne. She was built as a Class C Royal Naval Fleet
Tender specifically as a Sea Training Vessel. From 1978 until 1996 when she was
decommissioned, she was based on the Clyde, under the control of the RNXS. Principally she was used
to train cadets in seamanship skills mainly taking students from
Belfast. In March 1996, she was sold into private ownership, and
she has cruised extensively from Scotland to the north coast of
Spain.

combines traditional naval
construction and ruggedness, with pleasant and modern accommodation. She is well
able to cope with offshore conditions comfortably, but is also perfectly at home
lying at anchor in one of the many small ports or anchorage around our coast.
She is fully equipped with the most modern navigation and communication
equipment, and is licensed by the Department of Transport to carrying 12
passengers and 4 crew to a distance of 60 miles offshore. There are two
generators to provide 240 v electricity throughout the vessel allowing the use
of all modern day electrical equipment, as well as providing electricity for
lighting and heating. |
| Accommodation .

has a well equipped galley,
adjacent to the ward room which seats 12 so that all the guests can sit down to
meals at one sitting. The guest’s accommodation is in the center of the vessel
and below the main deck. There are two cabins containing 4 berths, one twin
berthed cabin and a double cabin. All the accommodation is light and airy. There
is storage space for each guest in the area. At the entrance to the
accommodation area there are two heads and a shower. |
