Thirty-nine steam launches took part in the Steam Boat Association's1998 River Thames Rally held over the weekend of 4-6 Sept. at Lower Sunbury. Friday night and Saturday were very wet but fortunately most of the boats were berthed in the Environment Agencies covered dock.
