A little bit about Rodger

Rodger was the man who introduced many of us to the joys of sailing. He was both capable and knowledgeable, and through his sailing courses at Scarborough Yacht Club, through his practical courses aboard his yacht Ruffian, now in other hands, and the twice yearly "Round Britain Experience" from St. Catharine's Dock , he taught the skills of navigation and boat handling, imparting knowledge essential for safe and enjoyable sailing. Oh, I nearly forgot, he was good at drinking beer.

Teaching that as a subject came very easy to him!
