SOVIET MEDICINE/ECHOBASS/AMOK/INCIPIENT - THE VALE 22/01/05 podboy Now here we have a funky, interesting band with great potential, they have a 70’s underground vibe mixed up with The Pixies. When the vocals could be heard they were great, their carefree experimental style fused with jazzy funk is brilliant. SM were a big hit with the predominantly metal scene crowd both young and old which is never a bad thing. A refreshingly different band that is off the wall but not so much so that you don’t get what they are about. They’re laid back attitude makes you feel like you are peeking in on a random jamming session, this made for an intimate feel-good groovy set.
