Q) Do you provide skating for the secondary schools?
A) No. Due to the boots sizes we only can provide skating for the Primary and Junior schools.

Q) Could the ice rink be set up outside?
A) No. Our rink could be used only indoors on the perfectly flat floor.

Q) How does it compare with the real ice?
A) There is a higher coefficient of friction with the polyethylene, so it is not as fast as real ice. However, we find that this is a great advantage in a restricted area such as smaller school halls, where real ice rink speeds would not be acceptable. Younger ones and novices can find our ice easier and it certainly neither as cold nor as wet!

Q) Do we need to sell tickets in advance?
A) Yes. This avoids long queues and disappointment. Schools are usually well organised with selling tickets for the events, so this is not normally a problem.

Conditions

1.   All skaters must adhere strictly to the session time.

2.   Children must be accompanied by an adult.

3.   Gloves & thick socks must be worn.

4.   Skates must be tied up securely.

5.   PTA and Kira Skating do not accept responsibility for any accident or injury that may occur whilst skating.

6.   All sessions are hourly, including changing time
