Ramprasad - Photo Gallery - 4

On Saturday 1st August 1998 we set off from Shoreham for Ramprasad's first "big trip" to the Caribbean. A mile or so out we meet Glynn on his ferrocement boat "Uzella" who takes these pictures. On board are myself, Kari, Pete & Fiona, and Alan & Joanna. 

A few months later we start the ARC rally/race from Las Palmas in the Canaries - this picture was taken by Peter Foerthman of Windpilot Self-Steering systems to highlight his latest Self-steering gear the Windpilot Pacific Plus which I had fitted in July (see External Links page for a link to his site). This was a couple of hours after the start and having got the kite up and with the fleet starting to spread out a bit we had a chance to relax with a sandwich and a drink. On board are Tom, Dawn, Simon (- at the wheel), and myself (- on the pushpit seat).
