I first started sailing in 1972 whilst working in Malta. Although I initially focused on dinghy racing, my interest in sailing quickly grew to include yachting. As well as obtaining numerous sailing qualifications, including Commercial Yachtmaster, I have also spent a considerable number of hours at sea. I have sailed extensively around the Channel Islands and UK coastline, completing two circumnavigations in Jalina, a Sadler 25.
