Training Meet 14th + 15th June at Chasewater, Staffordshire.
Located between Cannock and Lichfield - so very central in England!

OCSG direction signs will be put out, but there are some new roads in the area so not all maps are as helpful as they might be! (Sat navs may take you to east of the Chasetown bypass - the centre is to the west, on the lake!) You dont need to use the M6 Toll to get there approach from the B5011 or Miners Way, Chasetown.
Please do not arrive before 5 pm on Friday 13th to avoid clashing with a school group.
All welcome this is an opportunity for all to practice whatever skills of sailing, paddling, rescue, self-rescue etc they wish with supervision, advice and coaching on hand to help as necessary. Let Keith know if there are any particular requests for theory/back ground input so he can plan/bring appropriate materials. We will camp in the grounds of an education authority outdoor activity centre with direct access to the water basic facilities of loos and showers - we may be able to use the sailing club bar 100 metres away. Fees are £8/night for each unit ie tent / camper etc. Launching included - great value for money. Bring a trolley if you have one - beach space is limited and boats are better inside the fence overnight.
