Windermere Expedition Meet (October 2nd and 3rd)
Applications are requested to join a sailing canoe expedition on Windermere (!).
Previous OCSG expeditions to this area have encountered mountainous seas and severe gales
The aim of the expedition is to sail the length of Windermere on Saturday October 2nd, carrying camping gear in the canoes, establish a camp at the head of the lake, and return in canoes to the start point by the evening of Sunday October 3rd.
Joking aside, our last expedition on Windermere involved some very challenging sailing, and the trip is classified as suitable for those with a 'Level 2' ability level or above.
