The safety of all our guests on the Witch of Zennor is of paramount importance. Full safety equipment is carried including liferaft, EPIRB, distress flares, lifejackets and safety harnesses. A safety briefing is carried out when guests join covering all aspects of personal safety, security and the operation of equipment. The boat its self is fully DTI approved (MCA coded). All guests are encouraged to participate in navigation and instruction up to Ocen Yachmaster standard is available if required. In addition to training in the Carribean guests may be interested in courses run by the Fowey Sailing School in the UK. More information can be found via their website: www.fowey-sailing-school.co.uk The skipper of the Witch of Zennor will always be qualified to RYA Offshore or Ocean Yachtmaster standard and will have many years experience. Please note: Charterers do not require sailing experience but a mate will be required if no member of the charter party has some sailing experience. This will incur an additional charge. |
