| 1 | FIRE
To reduce the risk of fire and to comply with the conditions of insurance, please ensure : (a) That barbecues are used only in the designated area in the dinghy park. (b) That all fuel is kept in the fuel store in the large boathouse and not in the clubhouse. The Member organising any social function at the Club is reponsible for inspecting the Clubhouse carefully before it is closed, to ensure that no materials likely to cause a fire are left on the premises. Smoking is prohibited in the Club buildings |

| 2 | SECURITY
The last Member to leave the premises on any occasion is responsible for ensuring that : (a) All windows in the clubhouse are properly fastened and all external doors locked. (b) The burglar alarm is set ( Any Committee member will advise on its operation ). (c) All gates to the dinghy park and the entrance gate from the road are locked. |

| 3 | CHILDREN
Club Rule 9(g) requires that "No children under 14 years of age shall be on the Club premises unless accompanied by an adult Member". The adult Member is responsible for the safety and behaviour of the child. Children are prohibited from landing stage and slipway areas unless wearing a lifejacket. |

| 4 | VISITORS
All visitors must be entered in the visitors' book by the Member introducing them who will also sign the book. |

| 5 | DOGS
Members must ensure that their dogs are kept under proper control and that they are kept out of the clubhouse. |

| 6 | BOATS
Boats sailed from the Club premises shall be single hull dinghies with adequate bouyancy. The Club requires the Committee to regulate the classes of boats sailed. Members must therefore make application in writing and obtain the consent of the Committee before bringing a boat of any class onto the Club premises. |

| 7 | CARS
Cars should not be taken onto the area between the dinghy park and the river, nor into the dinghy park. |

| 8 | LANDING STAGES
During racing sessions, the landing stages should be used for launching and recovery only. Dinghies which are not being sailed should be hauled out onto the grass. |

| 9 | LIFE JACKETS
Members are reminded that the wearing of life jackets applies to Members in the rescue boats in addition to those sailing. |

| 10 | DINGHY PARK
Members are responsible for maintaining their part of the park in a clean and tidy condition. Every boat must be kept on a trolley in such a way that it can be moved by the Committee should the need arise. All trolleys should be clearly identified with either owner's name or boat number. Members are advised not to leave road trailers in the dinghy park. |

| 11 | INSURANCE
Boats sailed from the Club must be insured against third party risks for at least £1,000,000. |
