The Challenge 3 Team’s main sponsor is Bredero Shaw, the global leader in pipe coating solutions, that is active in the North Sea. The company has made a very generous financial contribution, part of which will be used to ensure that Mrs Chippy is fully prepared to undertake the North Sea Race safely and the rest of which will support the charity for which the team is raising funds. The team is extremely grateful for this support.
Aberdeen Assets Management group have contacted the team to offer substantial support.
The Auld Reekie Ceilidh Band and Eclectic 7 played excellent music at the Challenge 3 ceilidh and made it a great fundraising success.
The Edinburgh based outdoor sports supplier Tiso has generously provided a selection of clothing for the Challenge 3 team.
Kemp Sails were able to supply new sails for Mrs Chippy with a generous discount.
Tony Marsh has provided excellent photographic services, some of the results are shown in the photos page of this site and in the media articles referenced above.
Linda and Fiona have worked wonders in the sewing room on Mrs Chippy’s new sprayhood and sailcover.
Waitrose has made a very useful contribution to the team’s provisions for the voyage.
Brian Mack of Sign & Light made a great job of putting the name on Mrs Chippy.
The crew who will deliver Mrs Chippy to Norway have also helped out with the preparations in numerous other ways. The team would like to thank Toby Clark, Mary Watson, Nicola Hastings and Cameron Petrie.
