The Madding Crowd

The Madding Crowd researches and performs the church and secular music of the English village bands and choirs in the period 1660 to 1861.

On Sunday 26th February we will be running a workshop from 10.30 - 3.30 in Soberton Village Hall. See Events Diary for details

Guest night February 5th. All welcome to come and sing or play.

At Bristol Downs on 22nd May we had probably our windiest performance ever! With other groups, we celebrated the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Down Act, which made the Downs a public space for everyone to enjoy. Photos by Jeffrey Lucas.

Thanks to Bristol Harmony for joining us on this day.
