The site is regularly updated with news information and results. If club members have anything to sell let me know and I'll be happy to put it on the Sailboard. I am also sending
regular emails out whenever I update the site, if you'd like to be added to the notification list let me know.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MBRYC MEMBERS - We have created an emergency contact list. This list should be
readily available whenever the club uses the water at Market Bosworth. It would be a good idea if everyone prints off a
copy and keeps it in their boat box just in case.
TONY'S SPECIAL EVENT !!!!!! The event intended to be held on June 12th has been cancelled. Unfortunately Tony has had a clash of engagements on that day. June 12th will therefore be a normal Thursday sailing day.
Obviously wind and weather can affect the format but the intention is to have a
briefing at 11.45hrs prompt.
If possible this may be followed by a short practice race to 'tune up' before getting the series going.
Short breaks for lunch and a later drink
are intended and results posted before of by 16.30 hrs.
6th April 2008 - First Round of the Summer Series - Hmmm Summer Series! - we were greated by snow and freezing temparatures, but nevertheless 9 boats braved the weather for the first round
Tony H did the honours and kept skippers in good order on a large triangle/sausage course. Tony S led the way with two good wins in the first two races
but Lew found a bit of form in the races 3 and 5. It was however the consistency of Jim and Tony that paid off
with both ending up on 16 points, Tony took the honours with 4 wins to Jim's 3. An excellent morning and other than a bit of fun at the leeward mark, not too many incidents thanks to first class race control from Tony H. Looking forward to Round 2 on May 11th.
16th March 08 - first Round of the IOM Midland District Championship with the all new Sears Trophy. A good day had by all in no3 rig. Pictures here . Full race report here
