Another good result for Tony E at Manor Park on 31st Jan with clubmates Don Charlesworth second and Mike Weeks third. Thanks go to Paul Stubbs and the team at

MYA Midland District Seminar 2010
Details of the 2010 Seminar are now available - Racing The Next Step - this is a continuation
on last years successful seminar, with information for skippers new and experienced, the MYA Midland District and Manor Park MYC are pleased to host this
event and invite MYA members to register.

Dennis Nixon Trophy Leicester
Leicestershire Radio Yacht Club will once again be hosting the Dennis Nixon RM series over 3 dates this winter,
and wishes to invite anyone with a RM to come along and have a few races. More details here
IOM Winter Series Round 1
Round 1 of the Midland IOM Winter Championship at Market Bosworth on Sunday 1st Nov. Well done to
Pete Moore of Bournville for a great win in some very difficult conditions, Tony Edwards 2nd and
Darin 3rd. Special mention for David Staniforth on his first outing on the IOM circuit. Race report here.
Council News
Thanks very much to Graham and Gordon for running the show at the Midland AGM, a good turn out and a format worth following
for future year. For those who weren't there Keith Coxson the new MYA publicity Officer made a presentation 'Choices' on his
ideas and plans for the future, a copy of which can be seen on the link from the MYA
website here.

It was agreed at the District AGM that we would make some changes to the IOM Deed of Gift for the Summer Series and write
a new one to cover the Winter Series. Gordon has made the changes click here for Summer Series and the
