Adaptations and Equipment

To make the boats more accessible for disabled people we have designed, made or bought the following:

  • plastic seats with safety straps to fix inside the cockpit
  • a hoist to get people aboard
  • automatically inflating life-jackets with harnesses, life-lines
    and strobe lights
  • personal EPIRBS (emergency beacons)
  • waterproof charts for navigation work in the cockpit
  • hand held VHF radio
  • hand held GPS (satellite navigation)
  • audio compass
