There will be RYA Levels 1 & 2 (Start Sailing / Basic Skills) and the Junior equivalent Stages 1, 2 and 3 Training Courses on the weekends of May 10 & 11, 17 & 18, 24 & 25,
After that, our training is focussed on Youth Coaching and some club adult improving work. From 2004 onwards we intend to run some Club Days where there will be an informal mix of Racing, Coaching and Social activities.
These are now complete. Shame about the lack of wind!

Essential boat handling skills, enabling you to sail confidently as part of a crew. You will sail under close instruction and learn about 2 knots
This follows straight on from the Level 1 section of the course, and provides a good grounding in launching, reefing, tacking, gybing, landing safely, capsize recover, rules of the road, and sailing by yourself! At the end of the course you will be confident to sail a boat on your own in reasonable winds.

* Final assessment & cost of certificates
* On qualifying to sail, the Club Membership gives you access to club boats, at no extra charge through the season & race training if you so wish.
