The Social calendar is being shaped for 2008. Attendance by all members is of course compulsory - well advisable to make sure no one's talking about you!
So far we have the Pig and Jig fixed, details here. The other defined event will be the Wednesday night pub meal after sailing, once we start at the beginning of April. This is highly likely to be at the Farmers Arms in Llandegfedd Village.
Details of the annual Prize Giving, Hog Roast and Ceilidh [pig and jig] are as follows, please can you let me know how many tickets you require ASAP, do invite your friends and relatives, but we are limited to 100 on a first come first serve basis. This year it is very important that all members support the event as the club cannot afford to make a loss on the event.
Directions to follow!
Ideas include a special 40th anniversary event. The club was founded in 1968, so that seems a pretty good excuse. This is probably going to be lined up with the Regatta in the summer.
Probable curry evening in February, before some of us start sailing in March
