We attempt to put Red or Green flags on the buoys that we are using. This is not to be relied on 100%. The benefit is that the fishermen are meant to keep 50 yards away from flagged buoys.
The outer bouys are numbered clockwise around the reservoir, from 1 to 10. On the far side of the resevour from the OD hut, are nunbers 2,3,4,5,and 6. The one at th middle top is number 7, 8 is in the bay just visible to the far right from the OD hut, and 9 and 10 are on the bank beneath the wood just to the right of the OD hut.
The letters are predominently in order down the middle of the reservoir. A and B are typically lined up in front of the OD hut, and are often used as limitien gmarks for th start and finish line. NOTE, the actual line is the TRANSIT of the two posts at the OD hut, and they can be swivelled around!
Bouy C is the middle one neareset tot eh start line, and as you move prgressivly further North away from the dam, you will eventually reach F, which is about a mile away
