This page will be developed to give a range of Club Photographs. Each sub-page will provide a selection of "thumbnail" pictures that will download fast for you to choose from. A more detailed picture will be revealed if you click on a thumbnail, with the picture normally being less than 35 Kbytes. This means that they should arrive in less than 10 seconds.
If you have a good photograph, then either e-mail it to us if you have a scanned or digital image, or contact Andy Howard who will eventually scan it in and let you have the original back.
These pictures show some youth training at Cardiff Bay over the winter of 2004/2005 and the Topper Open on April 9, 2005
Our new Committee boat has arrived, in May 2004. She has come from the Thames near Shepperton and was a bargain as we bought her without the twin 70 horse motors. Waterskiing is not encouraged at Llandegfedd!
As you can see from these photographs, it was an interesting exercise taking her from a temporary berth on some sleepers in the car park to the water. She has been rresting for a week whilst being paineted an elegant grey, instead of the dark blue that she arrived in. However, much to everyone's relief, she floats very well.
Doris is a "Wilson Flyer" and is 23 feet long. She is fairly old and is wide in the beam and stable. During the winter we will be kitting her out with some weather protection, plumbed in lights, horns etc, and considering how best to keep a battery charged up. This is likely to be either another generator or solar cells.

Just some of the trophies are shown here. The picture includes the Llandegfedd Pin and a number of cups for first place in a series.
A calm day that was so clear that The Skirrid is clearly visible 10 miles away over the boats at the north end of the reservoir. Thanks to Mark Williams for photographs.

Mac Pearce has links with the Sail Training Association, The STA. He recently helped organise a day out for himself, Dave Hamersley, Ruth Howard and Mark Radcliff (Ruth's friend) and here are the Photos to show it! All photo credits to Mac.
Llandegfedd won a prize for the highest attending club this year as we sent seven to Bala to learn about racing. The Leeb du Toit boys, John Withers, Nick Hamersley, Dan Edwards, and Richard and Robert Ash. They had fun and learned much about sailing - and here are the Photos to show it!
Lovely Weather wasn't it?
