We will be issuing the newsletter (and possibly other things) in Adobe Acrobat (TM)format. If you already know what it is, just jump to the files and download them! If not, and it is all new to you, then the following paragraph may assist
Adobe are an American company that have produce a file format called "Portable Document Format". The idea is that users on Windows, MACintosh, Unix and other machines can all read documents and print them out in the same format, and they will look the same. It copes with printer quirks, font formats and other issues such as pictures. I have seen it used by companies to issue important documents that they do not wish to have changed (such as contracts) The beauty is that the Sailing Club newsletters are more likely to print correctly, are more likely to be smaller, and YOU can use your own printer without worrying what my laser printer may be thinking of. If you have not got the Adobe Acrobat reader, you can download it for FREE. There is a link below. Just follow it and click on the same icon again to choose the correct version of Adobe Acrobat reader for your own computer. It is highly likely that your browser will also link the the Adobe Reader and automatically show the files correctly straight away.
