I had just bought the boat and when driving it home the trailer hub locked burning a hole in the tyre then igniting the boat.
It all happened very quickly. There's not much left of it. My claim to fame is I closed the M74 northbound for 30 minutes!
Unfortunately I never took out insurance. I would hate anybody to have the same misfortune, some grease on the hubs would have stopped this happening. To insure the boat would have cost £54.
