Arrived, wet and windy, just rigged.

SUNDAY 18 DEG NW 10 KTS (Marinecall forecast each day)
FABULOUS FLEET OF DEMELZA
Hamble river till bridge, mostly under sail, picnic at Jolly Sailor.

MONDAY 18 DEG W 2KTS
Hamble again, a beat there and a run back.

TUESDAY 19 DEG N 1KT
Weston Shore, wonderful reach and a beat return helped by tide both ways.

WEDNESDAY 21 DEG S 5 KTS
Lepe beach, reach there, messy on beach with onshore breeze, struggle back against tide, glad of Mr Honda!

THURSDAY 18 DEG NW 7 KTS RAIN
Tried for Hill Head-after 1 mile and 1 ½ hours gave up, as had the wind!

FRIDAY 19 DEG SW 9 KTS SUNNY
Reach to Lee on Solent, but chop at beach so back to Hill Head for picnic.

Beat return was 'exciting' with a chop, force 4, and tankers !!!

SATURDAY 21 DEG SW 11KTS SUNNY
rigging dinghies FUZZY DUCK JOINED US: FLEET OF 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cycle to Lepe to see Cowes sailing, then beat to Ashlett Creek for coffee-fun to avoid all the boats etc !! Gary took his two novice crew for a sail along side a 3 masted schooner. Callaghans arrived for a spot of kite flying!

SUNDAY 23 DEG SE 8 KTS SUNNY FUZZY AGAIN
Bit windy so quick reaches in the bay for Demelza. Fuzzy Duck was more adventurous and ran across to Netley for lunch on the beach.

Brill week, sailed 8 consecutive days, is this an association record!!!!?????
