I am a retired teacher of Design and Technology and enjoy sailing, photography, technology, and meeting people; in many ways and in differing manners and situations. By this I mean that I am a member of a number of orgaisations and clubs which enables me to meet like minded people. I spend some of my time renovating my elderly yacht, a 1980 Westerly Ketch called TOR RENOWN. Catherine and I live five miles out of the town of Tavistock on Dartmoor on the road to Princetown. This is the highest town in England and is set high on the moors with the infamous Dartmoor Prison in its midst. Our house is 800 yards off the road down its own track, this sounds idillic, in fact it means that one is cut off from the usual delivery and collection services, including your refuse! However the area is beautiful even in the winter. |
