All members are expected to play an active part in some aspect of Club life, at the very least by assisting with race organisation about once a year. The success of the Club depends entirely upon the commitment and enthusiasm of its members.

General

If you are unable to do your duty on the date assigned for any of the below categories please swap with someone else on the list. Telephone numbers of members can be obtained from the detailed list posted in the clubhouse. In the case of Safety Helm and Crews - each has had a copy posted to them.

Bar and Galley

Please call John Jones on 01908 569518 to arrange collection of the bar money and keys. For any galley queries please call Netty Garrett on 01908 616358.

Safety Boat Helm and Crews

31st October British Summer Time ends: Wet/dry suits obligatory till March 2012. Winter Series starts.

Helms please telephone your designated Crew (and vice versa) during the week before your scheduled duty to confirm availability and minimise the risk of inadvertent 'no-shows'.

• Summer Series 10.00, 11.30, 13.30, 15.30

Work Parties

There are spring and end-of-season Work Parties in March and October to tidy the grounds, paint the clubhouse and prepare for the season or winter. Members muck in with all sorts of jobs ranging from tree lopping to tidying up the container or clubhouse. Any and all help given is much appreciated.
