Coaching
David Lewis is secretary for Milton Keynes Disabled
Angling Club and is offering his services to Haversham Sailing
Club as an angling coach. He is qualified, licenced and insured.
Licensed coaches are quite rare. He had to prove his teaching
skills, demonstrate angling ability, be first aid qualified,
CRB certificated and attended a child protection course. In
addition he has also been certificated for the "How to
Coach Disabled People in Sport" course through Sportscoach
U.K., an organisation of which he is a member. He is part
sponsored by Browning Fishing Tackle who have supplied him
with rods and reels for teaching, plus he has some whips for
learners.
