Welcome
"Welcome to the Haversham Sailing Club website.
If you are a new or prospective member we look forward to
meeting you at the club. We pride ourselves on being a friendly
bunch so please feel free to ask questions about any aspect
of the Club. Sunday is always the best day to find a variety
of members to talk to – so why not pop along?
Sailing is an excellent all year round family sport and
pastime providing wonderful opportunities to meet new challenges
and work together to learn new skills. We organise racing
every Sunday as well as some weekday evenings and we also
have occasional ‘open’ events - both young and
old, novice and expert, men and women can compete together,
either singly or in teams. Most of our members have their
own boats but we have several club boats which are available
to all members and our very popular under 16s Buccaneers
have a fleet of their own dinghies.
 Members
are able to use the facilities
every day of the year – some come down just to walk
around the lake or to use the club grounds for a 'day out'
with a picnic or barbeque. There is a kitchenette in the clubhouse
that is always open, as well as social areas and changing
facilities.
