For those of you that are new to the club we thought you might like to know a little about the committee that runs our club! Each of the committee is approachable with any comments or queries that you may have.

The Commodore

Mr. Colin Brazier is in to his second year as our Commodore. Colin has been a member for 10 years and has also been our Vice Commodore & Works Co-ordinator. Colin & Liz can be seen on the river in their Seamaster 30 'Peace'.

The Vice Commodore

Steve Dennis is in his second year as our Vice Commodore and has previously held the position of Members Representative. Steve & Mary's Seamaster 23 "Jaspen" is moored on the Clubs moorings and regularly travels up & down the River and out to sea.

The Rear Commodore

Tony Mackenzie is in his second year as our Rear Commodore. Tony maintains our Website and with Shirley they both spend as much time as they can on "Perlican" which is on the clubs moorings.

Secretary

Clive Mowatt.

Clive is our new Club Secretary. Clive and his wife Patsy have a 21ft coal fired steam launch called “Renaissance” which they steam on the Stour and other inland waterways. Clive has kindly taken over from Cherry and is very keen on contributing his many talents to the running of this very friendly club.

Membership Secretary

John Bottle is our Membership Secretary. John & Sue keep their Norman 23 "Ghost Whisperer" on the clubs moorings and have been active Club members for 4 years.

The Treasurer

Mr Peter Downs is the club's treasurer and has been for 13 years now. A fishing enthusiast who has been a member for 20 years. Peter has a Seahog which he hopes will see substantial quantities of large fish over the gunnels.

Works Co-Coordinator

Jon Rudd has previously held the position of Works Co-ordinator and now shares the duties with Ken. Jon & Barbara own "Karma" a Seamaster 813 which is on the Clubs Moorings.

Works Co-Coordinator

Ken Willison is in to his fifth year as our Works Co-ordinator and now shares the duties with Jon. He has recently refurbished a derelict boat and its grand launch now sees Ken & Pat spending comfortable overnight stays on the river. Contact Ken via Jon Rudds email address.

The Member's Representative

Steve Hogwood is in to his second year as our Members Representative and has been a member for quite a few years and with Sue they are restoring "Maracas" which will be on the clubs moorings.

Past Commodores

Mr Alan Gittings is one of our past Commodores and has previously served as Commodore from 1998 until 2004 and 2007 until 2010 Alan can be seen on the river in his 30' Seamaster 'Turramurra'.

Mr Wally Wanstall is also a Past Commodore. This position is an honorary but vital role passing on valuable experience and advice to the committee. Wally served as Commodore from 2004 until 2007 and has also held the position of Works Co-ordinator.

Peter Dowell

Peter has been a member of the club for four years. Peter and Myra can be seen regularly on the river either on Dreamtime or Nauti-Buoy.
