Team Challenge 2002

The Team Challenge was held on 1st June, Jubilee Weekend, in brilliant sunny weather. Six teams of 4 entered the competition and tackled a range of technical and physical challenges against the clock to see who could rightly be called the Champion Team of Great Moor. The Savitskys and Mike's Winning Team finished joint first with 55 points. well ahead of the opposition, however The Savitskys were adjudicated overall winners through a superior performance in the raft race - the primary event of the challenge. Thanks to Richard Patrick for all his hard work in preparing the various challenges, which ranged from 'Tower of Hanoi', through various devious tasks involving blindfolds and some tricky challenges involving many planks and ropes. The highlight of the day was the raft race which created much hilarity for those only watching rather than building and sailing the rafts.
