Membership of Great Moor Sailing Club
New Members are always welcome at Great Moor.
The membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March. Discounts are available to those joining part way through the year.
As a member of Great Moor you will receive a gate key and a club key allowing you 24 hour access to the club grounds, facilities and changing. You may sail your boat at any time subject to a recommended "two boats on the water" for safety. Many members use the club mid-week during the warmer months to have a sail and a picnic with friends.
Being a family orientated club without staff, all members are asked to assist with the running of the club in one way or another. This could take the form of a bar or galley duty, assistant race officer, or safety boat and race officer for those qualified.
Members are also asked to help out at the work days, where essential maintenance tasks are carried out. This can be a great way to meet other members.
Please refer to the club calendar and forum to see the events and activities that we get up to.
