Finding Great Moor Sailing Club

Great Moor Sailing Club is situated on Grebe Lake near Calvert in the North Buckinghamshire Countryside. It is a friendly, family oriented sailing and windsurfing club founded 30 years ago. The club is 5 miles south of Buckingham, 10 miles north west of Aylesbury and 5 miles east of Bicester.
The man made lake was formed from the closure of a brickworks clay pit and offers 65 acres of deep, constant level freshwater. The well developed woodlands around the lake offer pleasant walking for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
The club provides opportunities for a wide variety of water based activities such as dinghy sailing, sail-boarding, fishing, scuba diving and canoeing. The sailing lake is home to a wide variety of bird life and a similar size lake close by is a designated nature reserve.

Directions
Coming from the South the entrance is on the left, approximately 300 yards after the Charndon/Calvert cross roads. If you cross the hump-back bridge you've gone too far!
From the North the entrance is on the right, about 300 yards after the hump-back bridge, approximately 1 mile after the cross roads to Twyford and Steeple Claydon.
