THE “SUSPENSE” TROPHY
Round 3 of the 2008 SOMERVILLE Trophy
First Race 1.00pm sharp.
It's not too early to make plans to head west for the Frampton Open on May 17th. Tropical Frampton....swaying Palm Trees, gentle warm breezes off of the Severn, exotic wildlife [yes New Boy will be there!] and above all excellent sailing...who can resist it ! We start racing at 1.00p.m. sharp and have 3 races scheduled with Race Organisation by Frampton's Topper Class. There will also be an early evening Supper after racing and before the Prize-Giving. We again will be enjoying sponsorship from IMPCROSS LTD. We plan to hold a Bar-B-Que and get-together on the Friday evening before the Open for ourselves and visitors. So bring a bottle [or 2]and some Nibbles and join in with the Fun. Camping will be available on the Friday and/or Saturday night but please let me know if you would like to Camp. With Whitefriars Open the following day it makes sense to head West for this weekend and do both Opens.
At Frampton we have enjoyed great support at our previous events but this year we think we will break thro the 20 boats barrier.
