Classes Sailed at FOSSC
FOSSC has a number of established classes and boats which fall into these are automatically accepted. These classes are:
If you wish to sail a boat of any other class, it will require permission from the Sailing Committee. The boats sailed at FOSSC are loosely restricted to those without bowsprits or trapezes, no longer than 15ft long and no faster than a published Portsmouth Yardstick of 1048. It is likely that boats in the following classes would be accepted:
420, British Moth, Byte, Europe, Firefly, GP14, Graduate, Gull, Heron, Lark, Lightning, National 12, OK, Phantom, Pico, Wanderer
