Sailing Yacht 'Mazurek'
Szmaragd III
Szmaragd III had a hull and deck in GRP. One was built in the late 1970's for first Polish woman sailor who, in 1976-1978, circumnavigated the globe single-handed. The trip took two years and 24 days to complete. The name of the yacht was "Mazurek". The lady was Krystyna Chojnowska-Liskiewicz, who was born in Warsaw, and was a shipbuilding engineer and yachting sea captain. Krystyna's husband headed the yacht's construction team.
