Eden Rivers Festival

September 1st 2007

A huge event organised by the Eden Rivers Trust celebrating and highlighting all things that happen on the river Eden. It is being based at Rickerby Park Carlisle.

In connection with this, Cumbria Canoeists and Carlisle Canoe Club intend to organise a couple of races of approximately 5 km on a scenic section of river down to Rickerby Park. At the moment we are planning an open boat race in the morning for an adult and child (under 15) and in the afternoon, races for open boats and kayaks.
