Apparently the IP address used to send the Newsletter is sometimes temporarily blacklisted at SPAMHAUS.org, which mail servers use to reject mass mailers (SPAM). As a result messages from Cumbria Canoeists Newsletter sometimes do not get through. Current subscribers are confirming they are occasionally not getting Newsletter. Two major email suppliers are blacklisting the IP used and causing problems. Hotmail.com Tiscali but not subsidiaries along with some smaller ones plus.net and some company or school/college email addresses, but not all. With less than 200 people on the list, its not really a mass mailing. There is very little list administrator can do about this, and has done it already. What can you do. Let email from Newsletter address through your personal spam filters and perhaps ask your PC tech to whitelist all email from CumbriaCanoeists.org.uk and originating IP. Perhaps don't use above ISPs. When Cumbria Canoeists website moves to new hosting, this problem may reduce. Please subscribe and see if you receive a reply. In most cases nothing needs to be done.
