Update Day 2006
Greystoke Village Hall : February 12th 2006 10.00 - 4.00 pm
This BCU coach update day is aimed at supporting and updating coaches within the region at
all levels. Remember you can also update by using the update form on the BCU web site or
by attending a BCU coaching course.
The day will open with an update on the Paddlesport review from the English Coaching
manager Richard Ward and then a look at Long Term Paddler Development.
This will be followed by a series of workshops in the afternoon. You will be able to book
onto these on the day. A coaching young people module will run in the afternoon, which
will be a dry session, but most other sessions will be wet bring your paddling gear
if participating in these.
Forms will not be accepted without the fee. No confirmation will be sent. If your cheque
is cashed you are on!! (Receipts on the day if needed)
Do not turn up on the day without having booked first , please.
Remember to bring your log book and BCU membership card.
Bring your own lunch and a mug for the tea/coffee which will be available.
Directions: From the M6 junction 40, take the A66 Penrith towards Keswick, after the
Rheged roundabout take the first right signposted Newbiggin. At T junction turn left and
in one mile you arrive in Greystoke. Turn left into large car park and recycling centre,
just before the obvious bend in the road near the centre of the village.
