There was also a huge Lollipop race for children and
parents with over 12 families taking part. A big thank you to Nick and Ruth Austin for
organising this.
Outward Bound who hosted the event, and provided safety
cover along with Patterdale Hall, a huge vote of thanks to them.
Carlisle Canoes, BCU Office, Pete Knowles for supplying
prizes for the raffle.
Hopefully the race will run again next year about the
same time. We will let you know the date as soon as it can be confirmed. Thanks to all
