A fun filled day of races and competitions for young paddlers 16years and under.

WHEN

Saturday 20^th May 2006, 10.00 to 4.30 pm.

WHERE

Derwentwater, Derwent marina, Portinscale, Nr Keswick.

COST

£6 per entry (this includes £2 launch fee)

For those who want to make a weekend of it there is a good campsite in Keswick bordering the river Derwent. We intend to have a run down the middle Derwent on the Sunday following the race, all are welcome whatever age you are!

Draft timetable for Mini Youth Fest :

Derwentwater 20^th May 2006.

10.00 am. Registration.

11.00 am Rafted canoe sprint event

11:.30 am Sea boat U14 and U16 sprint event

And U12 Lightnings.

12.30 am X stream Challenge

1.30 pm Lunch

2.30 pm Wavehopper downriver race

3.00 pm Freestyle fun event

4.30 pm Finish approx
