| Burntisland
Sailing Club is located in the East of
Scotland approximately 20 miles by road
from Edinburgh. Burntisland is a small
town on the north shore of the Firth of
Forth near the town of Kirkcaldy. How to get
to Burntisland
From the
Edinburgh and the West
Follow signs to the
Forth Road Bridge. Cross the bridge then
take the A921 exit towards Dalgety Bay.
Follow the A 921 past Dalgety Bay and
through Aberdour to Burntisland.
Enter Burntisland
and turn first right into Kirkton Road (by
Fish and Chip shop and Pedestrian Crossing). Turn right at the
next junction into Burntisland High
Street. Turn first left into Harbour
Place before the railway bridge and
straight on for 500m and enter the docks.
Take the road around the docks to the
clubhouse. Avoid the diversion past the
dock to the Swimming Pool.
From the
East
Follow the A 921
through Kirkaldy and Kinghorn on to
Burntisland High Street. Turn left at the
end of the High Street into Harbour Place
and follow the directions above.
From the
North
Travel South on the
M 90 and leave the motorway at the A 921
exit just before the Forth Bridge then
follow the directions as above.
Rail and
Bus
Most local trains
stop at Burntisland railway station which
is adjacent to the docks. Buses from
Dunfermline, Edinburgh and Kirkcaldy stop
in Harbour Place.
