March 2011 Congratulations to Cate and Nick on the birth of their son Henry. January 2011 Cate has succesfully completed her masters degree . Emma and Jenna continue to run their Pilates classes and are busy following the excesses of Christmas and New year resolutions to lose weight and get fit. October 2010, Cate is now Cate Barker and is expecting her first baby in March, Jenny Cooper joins us in November to do a short clinic and will cover when Cate leaves on maternity leave. July 2010 From the 30th June Pilates classes will recommence at the surgery run by two physiotherapists.Emma Shergold is extending her massage hours.Congratulations to Cate on her marriage to Nick. As from 1.4.10 we will no longer be offering Pilates, Andrea has been succesful in getting a new job but it is too far away for her to continue the classes, we wish her the best. January 2010 Gemma is running the next course of Pilates whilst Andrea does a course towards her masters degree.Massage continues to be popular with the fees increasing from the 1st January. September 2009 Brook Lane Physio is 21 years old this year and we joined forces with the Surgery staff to celebrate with a BBQ and surf simulator, good fun was had by all!! February 2009 Our OFFICE hours have increased we are now open mon,tues,thurs,frid 8am-12am wed 8am-11am Ruth Tayler is changing her hours from the 1st March to enable her to run clinics for Brook Lane Surgery.She will now have Physiotherapy Appointments Monday mornings and Wednesdays.Cate Silke will expand her appointments on a thursday to accomodate this. Fees will increase by a small amount from the 1st April 2009 January 2009 Cate Silke has now finished her injection course and is running a clinic for Brook Lane surgery.Emma has changed her hours and offers massage on a Tuesday morning and an evening. October 2008 New Pilates class fully booked 20th Oct next class starts 1st December. July 2008 Pilates new class commences 8th September. January 2008. A new Pilates course starts on Monday 14th with beginers at 6pm and intermediate at 7pm. We can now take Credit Cards and Debit cards for payment. Emma is now offering Massage on a Tuesday evening and may soon offer a morning. October 2007 Andrea Vincent joins us in November a Physiotherapist with an interest and qualifications in Pilates she is going to offer individual Pilates sessions and a beginers class on a Monday evening. September 2007 Liz has now unfortunately left us to increase her hours in the NHS and will be missed by staff and patients alike, her hours have been taken on by Taj and Cate with Ruth altering her hours for an even cover of appointments. June 2007 Sports Massage is offered on a Wednesday evening. Liz is reducing her hours by one session with Cate increasing her hours to cover. May 2007 The clinic has now implemented a computer diary system which in the near future will allow private patients to book online. To register for online booking (Private patients only) please send an email to January 2007 Louise Spence has joined us as a newly qualified physio and sports masseur, she is manning the office on Monday and Wednesday evenings and is available at these times to offer sports massage at £18 per half hour session. May 2006 Cate Silke is know a permanent member of staff working Monday mornings and thursday afternoons,she is hoping to take on a part time MSC in the Autumn to further her expertise. Online booking is not yet available but please email me with your address if you are interested.ruthtayler@brooklanephysio.co.uk March 2006 Cate Silke joins the physiotherapy team this month to work 2 sessions a week to mid April.She has previously worked for BUPA in North Cheshire and has just returned from sailing a leg of the Round the World Yacht Race from Australia to China. January 2006 Happy New to all our old and new clients.We have implemented a new Software programme for the Diary and Accounts which enables us to offer some on line booking of appointments for our private patients. Julie Cornwell is leaving us this month as she has now started her MSC and has also secured a Senior Post at Winchester so is unable to continue with us,We wish her luck in her new job.
