Alec
talks about his experiences of cruising to and around the Outer
Hebrides – ‘Bagpipes and Kilt’. With fabulous visuals of the
area and music – we’ll be treated to a multi-media presentation,
coloured by historical facts relating to Bonny Prince Charlie and
his secret escape holes – in this inhospitable, but stunningly
beautiful sailing area.

Commodore, Jim, has kept his Etap in the Morbihan for many years and
gives us his personal perspective on sailing in this beautiful &
fascinating area with its nine knot tidal streams!
He touches on the history, geology, hydrology and traditions
of the area; as well as the choice of the right type of boat.
