Sailing at Bough Beech
Most of our members have their own boat, and most keep their boat onsite at the club. However it is possible to bring your boat in for day sailing, and we do also have a small fleet available for hire when they are not in use for training.
Your Own Boat
The choice of boats is very wide these days. You can read about some of the classes currently sailed at Bough Beech and you may wish to consider the main classes currently racing at the club which are:

Those who hire for the AM period only, should return the boat so that those hiring it for the PM period have time to check, launch and prepare for the start of the PM race (at least half an hour before the advertised start of the PM race). The £20 deposit will be forfeited if the hire boat is damaged or parts lost while in the possession of the hirer or their designated helm. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the hire boat has not suffered unrecorded damage or equipment is not missing before taking charge of the boat. Any missing or lost equipment or damage caused to the hire boat will be deemed to be the fault of the hirer.
In case of a collision with another boat where the helm of the other boat is at fault and the cost of repairs can be claimed from the other helm or his/her insurance, the £20 deposit will be returned to the hirer as soon as money for the damage is forthcoming from the other helm or his/her insurance company.
